Job summary

ASML US in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and optimize advanced semiconductor equipment on-site. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure peak system performance and knowledge transfer.

You will travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, work in a clean room environment, and mentor junior engineers while delivering reliable service and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor/high-tech equipment.
• Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software (spreadsheets, presentations, documentation tools).
• Familiarity with electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment issues by gathering and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced systems.
• Plan service activities, including tools, parts, and customer scheduling.
• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Document service activities and ensure clear handoff to support teams.
• Train customer staff on system use, maintenance, and best practices.
• Share knowledge and support the development of less experienced engineers.
