Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking Field Service Engineers to perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance of Hitachi’s E.C.R. Etching Systems at customer facilities across the United States.

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with semiconductor equipment are preferred. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, training customers and junior staff, and ensuring service documentation for reliability and billing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Senior Field Service Engineer – 3 to 5+ years repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment, preferably etch.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with varied subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Address all service-related issues at customer sites and provide training to customers and new field engineers.
• Provide technical guidance to junior field engineers and customers.
• Perform system installations and complete field service documentation for reliability tracking and billing.
