Job summary

Miltenyi Biotec, Inc. seeks an Onsite Service Engineer to act as the primary technical representative at a customer facility. You will install, qualify, maintain, and repair advanced instrumentation used in cell therapy manufacturing and research, ensuring GMP compliance and optimal performance.

You will collaborate with global technical teams, manage documentation, and build strong customer partnerships while navigating a regulated environment with autonomy and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related engineering field with 5+ years support experience in biomedical/automation systems.
• Experience interfacing with scientists, engineers, and QA in regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, maintenance, and integration skills for electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site technical representative at customer locations.
• Lead installation, qualification, maintenance, and repair of complex biomedical equipment and software.
• Maintain compliant documentation including service reports, calibration records, and inventory logs.
• Coordinate with GMP teams and cross-functional groups for efficient service delivery.
• Manage spare parts inventory and consumable stocks on site.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly to scientists and engineers.
