Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Field Service Engineer to represent the P&W Team at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas NV, onsite. The role requires handling F-35A/F135 operations, coordinating with engineering, logistics, and customer units, and traveling for deployments to support mission-critical activities.

Applicants must hold a U.S. citizenship, possess an active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one, and be prepared for extensive domestic and international travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline required.
8+ years of professional experience in engine or aircraft maintenance, logistics, or sustainment operations.

Responsibilities

Support F-35A/F135 operations with systems, tooling, material, and offboard processes.
Report on aircraft and engine status, flight reports, and parts consumption.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Identify root causes and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
Comply with EH&S requirements and CORE initiatives.
Travel domestically and internationally for deployments, sometimes ~3 months.
