Job summary

Deploy's Client seeks a Field Engineer II to own the jobsite document record, drive the Quality Feedback Loop to improve modular builds, and support field operations from 100% onsite travel. The role coordinates RFIs, submittals, invoices, and daily reports to ensure accurate payments and rapid learning between site and plant.

The candidate will manage schedule updates, track materials, and verify vendor invoices while guiding field teams and subcontractors to meet documented scope and safety

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant construction or field experience.
• Understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and the DMC methodology.
• Basic understanding of contracts and subcontracts.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accurate documentation practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eagerness to learn and take calculated risks.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Familiarity with AHJ and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the jobsite document control for RFIs, submittals, drawing revisions, meeting minutes, and distribution.
• Maintain the integrity of the jobsite record for entitlement, payment, and closeout.
• Assist Field Project Manager with OAC meeting agendas and minutes.
• Create the Client Weekly Progress Report.
• Track supply chain and material delivery against the schedule and sequence.
• Support module set and custody transfer activities with required documentation.
• Drive the project closeout process, including O&M, warranty, punch, and as-built.
