Job summary

Rosendin Electric is hiring a Field Engineer (Designer) to directly support project teams on job sites across the United States, with frequent on-site presence in AZ. The role emphasizes learning and developing competency in electrical design, equipment submittals, and field observations under supervision.

You’ll review drawings, assist with design updates, and coordinate with architectural, structural, and other trades to ensure design intent and codes are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to learn engineering analytic programs for short circuits, OC coordination, and arc flash.
• Familiarity with Autodesk, Microsoft Office, and illuminance tools.

Responsibilities

• Review equipment and system submittals and comment/process them.
• Assist senior engineers with field observations and design updates.
• Coordinate between architectural, structural, low voltage, mechanical, and electrical trades.
• Prepare/update power single-line diagrams and review short circuit studies.
