Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience; education, training, and relevant experience accepted.
• Ability to learn engineering analytic programs for short circuits and coordination.
• Familiarity with codes and energy efficiency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee or collaborate with Designers assigned to your work or team.
• Review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades.
• Prepare designs, check, and specify power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Develop power single-line diagrams.
• Develop and model short circuits and coordination studies.
• Coordinate work with project specs or equipment buy-out.
• Visit job sites for field surveys under supervision.
• Learn engineering analysis programs to analyze loads and short circuits.
