Job summary

Enable Ministry Partners is seeking a field engineer to join our Nashville-area IT team. This onsite role supports church clients with hands-on hardware, software, and network setups, balancing technical execution with relationship-building.

You will diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues, perform installations, and coordinate projects while communicating complex concepts clearly to non-technical staff. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an IT support role troubleshooting Tier II–III tickets
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and admin
• Knowledge of Active Directory/Entra ID
• Familiar with electronic ticketing systems
• Windows and macOS operating systems support
• Basic networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP) and LAN/WAN troubleshooting
• Windows Server management and virtualization (Hyper-V)
• Remote administration concepts and tools
• Disaster recovery and backup technology
• Active Directory, security groups, and group policy

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to clients.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Build client relationships through active listening and empathy.
• Explain complex concepts in an understandable way for all skill levels.
