Job summary

Enable Ministry Partners is seeking a mission-minded Field Engineer to join our growing team in the Knoxville, TN area. This onsite role focuses on providing both onsite and remote IT support, resolving a wide range of issues, and building strong client relationships to empower ministries with reliable technology.

You will install and maintain hardware and software, manage Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID administration, and leverage tools like ConnectWise and Datto/Kaseya.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an IT support role resolving Tier II–III tickets.
• Strong Microsoft 365 experience; managing users/groups/objects in AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with electronic ticketing systems.
• Proficient in Windows and macOS support.
• Solid IT infrastructure knowledge: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN.
• Experience with Windows Server and virtualization.
• Background check ability and valid driver''s license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support to Enable clients.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Build client relationships with active listening and empathy.
• Explain complex technical concepts to meet clients where they are, in plain language.
