Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in fastener engineering or joint design.
• Solid knowledge of fastener materials, torque development, and testing methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for fastener applications across design, validation, and issue resolution.
• Conduct joint reviews and specify fasteners, torque specs, and testing needs.
• Define validation methods including torque-to-failure, torque-to-yield, and clamp-load tests.
• Develop tightening strategies and review work orders with lab testing.
• Document recommendations and support onsite technical issues.
