Job summary

CBRE seeks a Multi-skilled Technician in Torrance, CA for first shift to perform preventive and routine maintenance on building systems and facility infrastructure. You will support day-to-day operations, maintain appearance, and help ensure safe, efficient facility functioning.

The role requires a High School Diploma or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and competency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and other MS Office products.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow basic work routines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs; track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for code compliance and report violations to Management.
• Follow defined procedures and work under supervision to deliver outputs.
