Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to perform preventive and routine maintenance on building systems and facility infrastructure.

The onsite role supports daily operations and includes painting and general upkeep inside and outside the building. Responsibilities include inspecting systems, assisting with installation and modification of equipment, reviewing work orders, and helping energy management to keep operations efficient while following safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma is required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Good communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs; manage completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision.
