Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Mineral Wells, TX to support building and hangar operations, ensuring compliance with EHS policies while performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on HVAC and electrical systems and basic industrial equipment.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety, and the ability to interpret electrical drawings. Onsite work schedule, with compensation aligned to the Mineral Wells location and Moog's rewards programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, painting, building maintenance, and repair activities, as well as welding, cutting, and equipment fabrication.
• Diagnose and affect the repair of air conditioning / heating equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Safely work at heights over 10 feet using ladders and personnel lifts.
• Operate a forklift to assist with the unloading of equipment and supplies.
• Perform basic electrical installation or repairs.
• Operate power tools.
• Perform monthly and weekly inspections of facility safety equipment.
• Work with hazardous chemicals.
• Serve as a first responder for hazardous chemical spills.
