Job summary

Moog Inc in Mineral Wells, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on facility systems including HVAC and electrical equipment. You will report to the Facility Supervisor and work onsite.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of facilities/maintenance management experience, strong RCCA skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics. Preferred certifications include HVAC, electrical credentials, and HAZMAT training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and RCCA skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, painting, building maintenance, and repair activities, including welding and fabrication.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning and heating equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Safely work at heights over 10 feet using ladders and lifts.
• Operate a forklift to assist with unloading equipment and supplies.
• Perform basic electrical installation or repairs.
• Use power tools to perform repairs.
• Conduct monthly and weekly inspections of facility safety equipment.
• Work with hazardous chemicals and act as first responder for spills.

Our Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician to collaborate on all aspects of building and hangar requirements in support of EHS policies, practices, and procedures. You'll perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical systems, and basic industrial machinery. You will report to the Facility Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Mineral Wells, TX. Moog Avionics delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries.

To be considered for the Maintenance Technician, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade certification(s) in a skilled trade such as HVAC, plumbing, or a related field.
• Certified Electrical credential.
• Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) training or certification.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Perform basic plumbing, painting, building maintenance, and repair activities, as well as welding, cutting, and equipment fabrication.
• Diagnose and affect the repair of air conditioning / heating equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Safely work at heights over 10 feet using ladders and personnel lifts.
• Operate a forklift to assist with the unloading of equipment and supplies.
• Perform basic electrical installation or repairs.
• Operate power tools.
• Perform monthly and weekly inspections of facility safety equipment.
• Work with hazardous chemicals.
• Serve as a first responder for hazardous chemical spills.
