Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a medical client on-site Monday–Friday. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair multiple building systems to help ensure a safe, reliable environment.

This role requires 1–2 years of related experience or a diploma, strong communication and MS Office skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. You may participate in an on-call rotation to cover essential needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years' related experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, climbing, lifting 50 lbs+).
• Follow basic work routines and standards in applying tasks.
• Clear communication for exchanging straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose issues, and perform repairs.
• Carry out general building maintenance such as plumbing, painting, light bulb replacement, and fixture cleaning.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and coordinate with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
