RTX is seeking a Facilities Building Operator in Richardson, TX, onsite. The role covers operating and maintaining the facility's Central Utility Plant, HVAC systems, refrigeration, and environmental controls to ensure reliable plant operations.

You will work a 1st shift schedule Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–3:30 PM and Friday 6:00–10:00 AM, with responsibilities spanning diagnostics, repairs, and energy-efficient control tuning.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• 4 years of experience in HVAC or completion of technical school/formal training.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and perform chiller plant and refrigeration duties with limited guidance.
• Diagnose breakdowns or delays in operations and testing.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment promptly.
• Modify controls to optimize energy efficiency in operation.
• Operate computer-based building automation systems.
• Handle medium and heavy equipment or tools for repairs.
