Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Support Services Supervisor II to lead contractor staff and oversee daily facility operations on-site in the Washington DC area, including MD and VA. You will direct, train, and review work to ensure contract compliance and maintain a clean, efficient work environment.

The role requires supervising six to ten employees, addressing operational issues, collecting workload data, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of supervisory experience in comparable service-activity environments.
• Ability to exercise independent, sound judgment in managing day-to-day operations.
• Knowledge of file maintenance methods and procedures.
• Working knowledge of personal computer operation and standard applications.
• Ability to collect, record, and organize data for productivity or workload reports.
• Neat, professional personal appearance.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Current and valid driver’s license authorizing operation of contractor-owned or Government-furnished vehicles as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises six to ten contractor employees.
• Directs and reviews work assignments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established procedures.
• Provides guidance and on-the-job training to newly assigned personnel in processing methods and procedures.
• Resolves working-level complaints and operational problems related to services performed under the contract.
• Manage and monitor daily work activities to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and make necessary adjustments to support workload demands and organizational changes.
• Maintain the facility in a neat, clean, and professional condition.
• Carry out routine support tasks, including running errands, making copies, and transporting time-sensitive materials within the Washington metropolitan area using a vehicle as needed.
• Conduct data collection for use in statistical and workload reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
