Job summary

CCRC Child Care Resource Center is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant for the ECL program. The role ensures daily maintenance, safety, and service at assigned centers, traveling to multiple ECL locations in a full-time onsite capacity.

You will perform general maintenance, safety inspections, chemical handling with PPE, and organize storage while using basic computer systems and work order tracking. This position requires travel and occasional overtime or evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of basic building maintenance skills and familiarity with local area (i.e., San Fernando and Antelope Valley streets and highways).
• Technical Requirements: Basic computer proficiency skills. Able to access email/internet and work order tracking software.

• General Maintenance & Repair duties across centers (40%).
• Inspections & Safety Compliance (20%).
• Chemical Handling & PPE requirements (15%).
• Organization & Storage tasks (15%).
• Travel & site support to multiple ECL locations (10%).
