Job summary

Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois seeks an Infrastructure Manager to oversee the Central Facilities Management Program for designated buildings. You will coordinate staff and external vendors to deliver multi-trade projects and prepare annual capital asset replacement programs.

This onsite role requires strong knowledge of building mechanicals, CMMS systems, procurement, contract oversight, and safety compliance; you will develop facility policies, monitor budgets, and report on SIP metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in related field of Property Management, Facilities Management or Maintenance
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience
• OHSA 10 Construction preferred and/or willing to obtain

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Central Facilities Management Program for assigned buildings and coordinate staff and outside services
• Develop and submit annual capital asset replacement programs for assigned buildings
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of all building systems and review procurement packages
• Monitor contracts, oversee multi-trade tasks, and ensure compliance with ESH&Q
• Maintain CMMS records, track backlog, and generate budgetary reports
• Develop facility policies, report SIP metrics, and coordinate with tenants
