Job summary

Lam Research in California is seeking a Project Manager to drive facilities and gas tool installation projects for the Global Workplace Solutions group. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, and compliance across plant, lab, and production sites.

The role requires onsite work five days a week, strong leadership, SAP/Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, and experience guiding complex construction and commissioning efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years experience acceptable.
• Experience in Facilities Construction Project Management.
• 3-5 years leading a team of project managers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP for purchase requisitions and orders.

Responsibilities

• Plans facilities changes for plant, lab, and production equipment layouts.
• Manages design drawings and leads design reviews.
• Prepares bid packages and contracts for construction.
• Reviews design costs and estimates.
• Inspects construction and installation progress.
• Drives cost reduction via bidding and negotiation.
• Coordinates city inspections and permits.
• Oversees gas tool installations and facilities infrastructure.
• Manages stakeholders and reports project status.
