Job summary

EPMA in the United States is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to support defense and aerospace facility programs. You will provide technical advice, oversee contractors, and guide real property management activities across operations, infrastructure, and compliance.

The role requires strong engineering judgment, effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to manage complex, regulated projects with approximately 25% travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required due to defense/aerospace work.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in engineering consulting, facilities engineering, or client-facing technical environment.
• Experience as COR or providing contractor oversight is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of real property regulations, easements, permitting, rights-of-way, and land-use agreements.
• Ability to perform facility inspections, engineering analyses, and risk assessments.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or complex facilities environments preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise to support improvements in facility operations, maintenance programs, and real property management.
• Develop technical recommendations for manufacturing optimization, cost reduction, operational efficiency, and facility performance.
• Participate in program reviews, technical discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare and present clear engineering reports, assessments, recommendations, and presentations.
• Act as owner's representative for facility-related programs, overseeing contractor activities.
• Evaluate contractor performance against cost, schedule, quality, and compliance.
• Apply project management principles to plan, coordinate, and execute facility-related projects.
• Review and verify contractor deliverables, including reports, inspections, engineering findings, and operational data.
• Apply knowledge of real property policies, regulations, and requirements.
