Job summary

Atrium Health's Event Medicine Athletic Training Services is seeking an experienced athletic trainer to evaluate injuries, plan rehabilitation, and supervise program delivery at community and sporting events.

You will work with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide on-site care, prevent injuries, and guide athletes back to play, while mentoring students and staff across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• Certified Athletic Trainer with state licensure.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate injuries and design rehab plans with individualized care.
• Gather data from medical records and communicate progress to team.
• Coordinate athlete schedules, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Document evaluations, tests, progress notes, and outcomes.
• Provide on-site coverage and orient new staff and students.
