Job summary

Longenecker & Associates (L&A), a Geosyntec Company, is seeking an ESH Coordinator to support Fermilab operations in Batavia, IL. This role reports to the LBNF/DUNE ESH Manager and collaborates with NSCF, construction, and Near Site teams to maintain ESH program compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in ESH or related field with extensive experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DOE Q security clearance. Onsite work and strict safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ESH or related field with 10+ years of experience or equivalent
• Experience in managerial, environmental protection, occupational safety and industrial hygiene
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DOE Q security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, monitor, and provide document control for ESH policies and standards.
• Lead ESH contractor assurance programs and ensure compliance.
• Provide daily support to NSCF Construction Manager Advisor field ESH Coordinators.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations, and trend analysis.
• Serve as primary ESH contact for Near Site stakeholders
