Job summary

ProgressiveHealth Occ Health Services, LLC is hiring an Industrial Prevention Specialist to deliver on-site injury prevention and ergonomic support for a major airline carrier at JFK Airport in Queens, NY. The role focuses on preventing musculoskeletal injuries through ergonomic education and practical training.

The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications and can stand, walk, and sit during shifts.

Qualifications

• Background in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain before start; maintain proof of certification.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ergonomic assessments and support by understanding site operations and physical demands.
• Conduct in-person ergo/lift training sessions in a small classroom setting.
• Guide employees through an operational simulation with observations and feedback.
• Provide proactive injury prevention and OSHA First Aid education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide feedback to leadership and client partners.
• Prepare and share reports with key metrics to leadership and operations management.
