GenScript USA Inc/ProBio Inc. in Piscataway, NJ is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support laboratory and production equipment.

The role performs preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and maintains records, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with GMP/ISO standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 3+ years of hands-on equipment experience, and experience coordinating vendors.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of equipment engineering, maintenance, or calibration experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience maintaining laboratory equipment and calibration procedures preferred.
• Experience using a CMMS or similar system to document work and schedules.
• Familiarity with GMP/ISO quality practices helpful; strong records keeping required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on lab and production equipment and document results.
• Diagnose equipment failures, repair per training, verify performance and coordinate return to service.
• Support instruments such as HPLC systems, liquid handlers, centrifuges, thermal cyclers, analyzers, and general lab equipment.
• Determine when to outsourcing to OEMs or service providers and define the service needed.
• Coordinate vendor visits for repairs, PM, and calibration; ensure access and timing for users.
• Create and maintain CMMS work orders; track failures, parts, and status.
• Maintain asset histories, maintenance schedules, and inventory records; identify critical spares.
