Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is seeking an on-site supervisor at our Indianapolis facility to coordinate waste storage, transport, and disposal activities in compliance with regulations. You will manage onsite staff and act as the liaison with clients and vendors to resolve service issues, while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role requires coordinating daily logistics, supervising hourly workers, and ensuring data accuracy in profiles and records.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED and two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of waste from client site including scheduling, manifesting, tracking and loading materials.
• Responsible for safe sorting and baling of materials.
• Manage hourly personnel including hiring, performance reviews and disciplinary action.
• Coordinate shift assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
• Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state and local regulations.
