Clean Harbors is seeking an onsite Dispatcher in Jacksonville, FL to coordinate daily dispatch activities for personnel and equipment across locations. You will manage contractor dispatch, maintain communications, and ensure timely spill response and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 12‑hour shifts (6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) onsite in Jacksonville with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Dispatch and customer service experience required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, RCRA and DOT regulations.
• Strong time management, attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly.
• Team player with good written and verbal communication.
• Data entry and familiarity with relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Handle completion of regulatory reporting on shift.
• Provide environmental support to open projects ensuring compliance.
• Act as technical supervisor for spill response matters.
• Oversee spill projects from client engagement to cleanup.
• Dispatch contractors for excavation, transport, and disposal.
• Supervise field crews and monitor pollutant controls.
• Log client interactions accurately in ALERT systems.
• Communicate with contractors, clients and regulators effectively.
• Respond to inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction.
