Job summary

Power Device Corporation in Bohemia, NY is seeking an Intern-Engineering to join our respected team. The internship is 100% onsite at our corporate headquarters and is a temporary role.

The compensation is $20-$25 hourly based on education and experience. While in school, you will work 16 hours weekly; in the summer, 30 hours weekly. This position requires eligibility as a U.S. person or a qualified license holder.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering, technical or scientific program.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews
• Develop and document technical theory of operations for design work
• Develop plans and reports with charts/graphs
• Basic circuit design, schematic capture, PCB design
• Troubleshoot with lab equipment
• Assist with electronics assembly and soldering
• Part selection and BOM development
• Design/write software code for products or testing
• Assemble cables or prototypes
• Adhere to SHE policies and standards
• Support manager with other duties as assigned
