Job summary

Power Device Corporation (PDC) is seeking an Intern-Engineering to join our Engineering Department at our Bohemia, NY headquarters. The role is 100% onsite and a temporary internship designed to provide hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering projects.

During school, you will work part-time 16 hours weekly; in summer, 30 hours weekly, with compensation ranging from $20 to $25 per hour based on education and experience. U.S. person eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering or a related program.
• U.S. Person or eligible for government/license clearance.
• Ability to understand and document technical information and engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document technical theory of operations for design work.
• Develop plans and reports with charts/graphs.
• Perform basic circuit design and PCB design.
• Troubleshoot with standard lab equipment.
• Assemble cables or prototypes.
• Write software code for products or testing.
