Job summary

Scope Services seeks an Energy Engineer III to analyze and support electric and natural gas energy efficiency projects in Massachusetts. The role involves developing program plans, performing energy analyses, and guiding projects to achieve measurable savings. Bachelor's in engineering required, 3–7 years’ related experience preferred.

The position is onsite in Springfield, MA with travel across MA/CT/NH as needed. Benefits include health, life, vision insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 3-7 years related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Experience with energy efficiency programs and codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement energy efficiency program plans.
• Perform energy analyses for electric and natural gas savings.
• Provide guidance to ensure measurable energy savings.
• Support inspections to verify savings calculations.
• Collaborate with third parties and customers on program delivery.
• Analyze HVAC equipment, motors, and controls for savings.
• Assist with training and program marketing activities.
• Support national energy efficiency conferences and stakeholder events.
• Evaluate new technologies and R&D activities.
