KARL STORZ North America is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to support advanced medical devices in a hospital setting, focusing on instrument and video system readiness. You'll collaborate with OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure equipment reliability, optimal patient procedures, and superior customer service.

This role offers growth across sales, education, and various organization areas. Location: MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston; shift Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, healthcare support, or related clinical setting.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams.
• Set up and support video towers and integrated surgical systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and coordinate replacement of instruments.
• Clean, transport, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments.
• Manage repair processes, equipment tracking, and service transactions.
• Resolve real-time equipment issues in the OR to support procedures.
