Job summary

KARL STORZ North America is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to support surgical environments with hands-on expertise in endoscopy equipment.

In this role at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, you will work with OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring equipment readiness and exceptional service while growing opportunities across the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, healthcare support, medical device sales, or related clinical environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring seamless use of KARL STORZ equipment.
• Set up and support video towers and integrated surgical systems used during procedures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of instruments and equipment.
• Clean, transport, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments for clinical use.
• Manage repair processes, equipment tracking, and service-related transactions.
• Resolve real-time equipment issues in the operating room to support successful patient procedures.

About the Role

One of the most rewarding ways to launch your career with KARL STORZ is by joining our Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES) team. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced medical devices, from precision instruments to state-of-the-art video systems, directly within a hospital environment.

Working alongside Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing Department (SPD), and BioMed teams, you will help ensure surgical readiness, equipment reliability, and exceptional customer support. This role offers unmatched exposure to clinical environments and cutting-edge medical technology while providing a strong foundation for career growth across sales, leadership, education, and other areas of the organization.

Shift: Monday - Friday, Location: MD Anderson Cancer Center | Compensation: $19.28 - $28.19/hr

What You'll Do

Nice to Have

• Associate's degree.
• CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification.
• Experience supporting surgical equipment, endoscopic systems, or medical devices.
