KARL STORZ North America is seeking an onsite Endoscopic Specialist to support advanced surgical technologies within hospital environments. You will work with OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure equipment readiness and optimal performance of video systems and instruments.

This role emphasizes hands-on service, quick troubleshooting, and collaboration across clinical teams to improve patient outcomes and support long-term career growth within a global MedTech leader.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, sales, or other clinical/medical environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in fast-paced, service-oriented teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on, face-to-face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring equipment readiness and seamless operations.
  • Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for surgical procedures.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of KARL STORZ instruments and equipment.
  • Transport, clean, sterilize, and package surgical instruments to ensure compliance and readiness.
  • Manage repair processes, monitor equipment status, and facilitate service or exchange transactions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues in real-time within the operating room to support successful procedures.

About the Role

You will work side-by-side with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams to ensure surgical readiness and successful outcomes. What You’ll Do
