Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary group in an interfaith setting.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with clients and families.
• Demonstrates mature Christian faith and aligns with ministry values.
• Diplomatic, patient, and courteous interactions with diverse groups; strong customer service.
• Excellent oral and written communication; maintains emotional stability under stress.
• Analytical skills to identify problems and implement solutions; understands policies.
• Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.
• Must have an active state driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Make regular (weekly) visits to client worksites to build trust-based relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employees and immediate family members.
• Offer planning/participation in funerals and bereavement support where appropriate.
• Coordinate referrals to specialized assistance for employees and families.
• Communicate company messages about faith, mission, and purpose to staff and families.
• Support new employee orientation with information about Employee Care Service.
