Job summary

ITMC Systems, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced embedded C/C++ engineer to design, implement, and optimize software for Linux-based and embedded test platforms. You will work closely with hardware teams to create robust APIs and reliable test solutions.

The role requires hands-on debugging of complex hardware/software integration, familiarity with SPI/I2C/UART/Ethernet/PCIe, and collaboration within Agile teams. Onsite work is required at North Reading, MA or Sunnyvale, CA.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in C and C++ development for embedded and system-level applications.
• Proven track record debugging hardware/software integration and multithreaded software.
• Experience with embedded buses (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, PCIe) and Agile teams.
• Available to work onsite 5 days/week in North Reading, MA or Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C/C++ software for Linux-based and embedded test platforms.
• Build software interfacing with hardware and OS components, offering robust APIs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize hardware/software integration issues across board- and system-level components.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver semiconductor test solutions.
• Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Utilize Python scripting for build automation, test execution, and tooling.
