Akkodis is seeking Onsite Embedded GNC Software Engineers in Winter Park, FL, who possess strong experience in C++ and Ada programming and have an Active Secret clearance. Successful candidates will work on navigation and control functionalities and be involved in hardware/software integration. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly pay rate and a supportive environment within the defense sector. Candidates with additional expertise in DSP and interface algorithms are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with embedded software applications development and maintenance.
• Experience with GPS-aided inertial guidance navigation & control (GNC), autopilot, and launch sequence.
• Must have Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with:

• Embedded software applications development and maintenance using C++11 (or higher versions), Ada, RTOS.
• Software functionalities include GPS-aided inertial guidance navigation & control (GNC), autopilot, launch sequence
• Hardware/Software integration and full SDLC Agile methodologies
• Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBicket)

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

• Familiar with any gimbal LOS control, IR seeker digital image processing (DSP), mission data transfer and 1553 interface algorithms.
