Job summary

Enphase Energy is seeking an embedded software/firmware engineer to design and implement software for Solar and storage products. You will work with hardware teams to define firmware architecture and drive integration across system levels.

The role requires hands-on development, testing, and mentoring of junior engineers in a fast-paced environment, with on-site collaboration in Austin.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, 5+ years in embedded software/firmware.
• M.S./M.Tech with 3+ years of experience in embedded domains.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• C programming for real-time apps; RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and code for system integration, batteries and inverters.
• Create board and system level embedded software for solar/battery products.
• Document firmware architecture with hardware/system engineers.
• Guide EVT testing with firmware engineers to verify sanity.
• Work with SDVT teams to test and troubleshoot prototypes.
• Mentor junior engineers across residential and commercial product domains.
