Brunswick, a global marine leader, invites aspiring engineers to join its student program in Fond du Lac, WI, working full-time May–August 2027. You will contribute to control software for outboard motors, learn from qualified professionals, and manage projects from inception to completion.

You will gain hands-on experience with embedded controllers, oscilloscopes, and MATLAB/Simulink, while collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BS program with a major in Electrical, Software, Computer, or Controls Engineering.
• Second semester sophomore with 48 completed credits minimum.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) May–August 2027.
• Hands-on with hardware such as embedded controllers and test tools like oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on design, production, and manufacturing of marine propulsion systems.
• Use Simulink and MATLAB for control algorithm development and analysis.
• Test embedded software on target controllers, simulation boards, and engines/boats.
• Update documentation related to control software and interfaces.
