Job summary
Brunswick in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Software Validation Engineer to design and execute testing for engine software, diagnostic tool software, helm controller software, and mobile apps.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years in software validation, system verification, or QA in embedded, desktop, or mobile software.
- Experience with issue tracking, requirements docs, Gantt charts, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and SVN.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and run test plans for embedded controllers, Windows apps, and mobile apps.
- Perform regression, exploratory, integration, and system testing across software platforms.
- Document defects and communicate results to the Software Engineering team.
- Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot issues.
- Test software and control systems in simulated labs and real marine environments for quality.
- Verify releases meet requirements and customer expectations prior to deployment.
