Job summary

Particle Measuring Systems in Niwot, Colorado is seeking a Service Technician I to support our service team in maintaining and repairing customer equipment. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or military equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics in English.
• Knowledge of A/C and D/C converters, microprocessors, analog and digital circuits.
• Knowledge of helium-neon lasers, diode Lasers, and/or collecting and condensing optics is helpful but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Some travel required.
• Team player focused on customer satisfaction and quality, with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating electronic equipment.
• Developing troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Supporting customer calibration and maintenance of Particle Measuring Systems' micro contamination monitoring equipment.
• Researching customer problems and complaints.
• Acting as a liaison between customers and various departments.
• Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
