Job summary

Silvus Technologies in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Quality Control Inspector to join the OQC team on site at our West Los Angeles HQ. You will conduct thorough inspections of electronic and mechanical parts, document results, and work with engineering and suppliers to resolve quality issues during manufacturing and testing.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of electronics inspection experience, proficiency with inspection tools, and the ability to read schematics and part documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of electronic part inspection experience.
• Proficient with inspection tools (multimeters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes).
• Ability to read basic schematics for PCBs/PWAs.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and processes, including cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, enclosures and shields.
• Inspect incoming materials and perform first article checks as needed.
• Prepare in-process inspection reports with completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain quality documentation and tooling records.
• Identify and escalate potential issues with engineering and suppliers.
