Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit is seeking an Electronics Quality Technician‑II to join the Operations - Quality Control team at the West Los Angeles HQ. You will perform advanced visual inspection, calibrate tools, and support root-cause analysis for StreamCaster MANET products in a fully onsite role.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in electronics assembly/inspection, IPC knowledge, and hands-on test equipment experience. U.S. Persons only; background check and drug test required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics assembly, inspection, or rework.
• Proficiency with soldering, test equipment, and documentation.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced visual inspection and rework per IPC‑J‑STD 001 standards.
• Perform continuity, resistance, and voltage checks to support root cause analysis.
• Build and repair custom cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and test fixtures.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and test equipment under supervision.
• Support RMA processing by performing initial diagnostic checks on returned units.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to identify process improvements and recurring issues.
• Document inspection results and communicate non‑conformances effectively.
• Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
