Job summary

All Star Electric on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast is seeking an Onsite Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish. You will supervise field personnel, coordinate daily jobsite operations, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and schedule standards.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory and 3-5+ years in new construction, with strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and the ability to read drawings. Journeyman/Master license preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a supervisory role
• 3-5+ years in new construction
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• OSHA safety standards knowledge
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-schedule, on-budget completion.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and electrical drawings.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct jobsite meetings and clearly communicate expectations.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Document important information per company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and office staff to support success.
• Train, mentor, and develop field employees.
