You will drive project success through meticulous planning, effective communication, and technical expertise, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to NEC standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
  • Hands-on construction site experience managing electrical installations.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, HeavyBid or similar scheduling/estimating tools.
  • Strong NEC knowledge and blueprint reading.
  • Licensed Electrical or construction management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical system design, including schematic development and NEC compliance.
  • Observe subcontractors' electrical operations for cost, progress, quality.
  • Develop estimates and coordinate with client, GC, and subs.
  • Prepare schedules using Primavera P6 and manage site activities.
  • Review contracts and specs to mitigate risks and clarify scope.
  • Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for document management.
  • Maintain project documentation and site safety standards.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Electrical Project Engineer to lead and coordinate electrical engineering projects within the construction industry. Responsibilities
  • Lead the electrical system design process, including schematic development and review, ensuring compliance with NEC standards.
  • Observe electrical operations of subcontractors to check cost, progress, and quality compliance.
  • Monitor subcontractor and project stakeholder reports, prepare and review construction statements, plans, inspections, and remedial actions.
  • Coordinate the electrical equipment and material approval process with client, GC, sub‑contractor, EOR & AHJ.
  • Develop detailed construction estimates using estimating tools to forecast costs and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients, to integrate electrical systems into overall plans.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
  • Oversee construction site activities related to electrical installations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Review contracts, change orders, and technical specifications to mitigate risks and clarify scope.
  • Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for document management, drawing markup, progress tracking, and cross‑team communication.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes such as NEC and local regulations while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports, logs, incident reports, and as‑built drawings.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry, with a strong background in system design and blueprint reading.
  • Hands‑on construction site experience managing electrical installations from start to finish.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools for scheduling and estimating.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, schedule, and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, schematic interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
  • Experience working on large‑scale commercial or industrial projects is highly preferred.
  • Excellent time‑management skills, being able to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in High/Low Voltage Electrical systems, ELV, BMS, EMPS.
  • Preferred licensed Electrical or construction management or equivalent certification.
Compensation

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
