Integrated Metal Products, Inc. in Lakeland, FL, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead project engineering from planning through completion.

This onsite role collaborates with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver on time, within budget and to quality standards. Responsibilities include creating plans, schedules, budgets, electrical designs, and coordinating documentation and reviews with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a SolidWorks Designer or similar role.
• Proficient in SolidWorks Electrical and related design tools.
• 3–5 years in electrical design within manufacturing; fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets based on goals.
• Manage project execution to deliver on time and within budget.
• Develop electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control layouts.
• Support integration of electrical components into assemblies and automation systems.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
• Prepare drawings for inventory, production maps, and BOMs.
• Lead design reviews and drive approved improvements.
• Create prototypes and conduct testing to verify designs.
• Maintain accurate records of design and production activities.
