Job summary

Eagle Electrical Services, an EMCOR Company, is seeking a Project Engineer in Plain City, OH. This in-person role supports planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting for electrical construction projects to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

The engineer will shadow and mentor to develop into an Assistant Project Manager. Reports to Sr. Project Manager; role is onsite with no hybrid/remote work.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Electrical construction knowledge gained through an apprenticeship program is acceptable.
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written – that promote teamwork.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow a process.

Responsibilities

• Participate in estimating hand off meetings.
• Assist with management of documents for the Field.
• Assist in establishing project schedule with PM.
• Assist in creating cost code allocations from initial estimate.
• Coordinate prefabrication opportunities with PM and Prefab Manager.
• Visit job sites and attend job meetings as needed.
• Assist with bi-weekly projection on job cost.
• Manage vendors and track material deliveries.
• Assist with issuing timely RFIs.
• Support Project Coordinators with procurement and delivery tracking.
• Assist with job close out manuals and as-builts.
• Participate in job close out meetings.
