Job summary

System One is seeking a Construction Supervisor for a 12-month contract in Earth, TX, to oversee field electrical activities on the BESS project and coordinate contractor work. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to project standards.

The candidate should have 7–10 years of electrical experience, inspector exposure, and knowledge of renewable energy projects; a B.S. in electrical engineering or equivalent is highly preferred, with NEXTracker familiarity as a plus.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years electrical experience, including low/medium voltage work.
• Experience as an electrical inspector or related role.
• Knowledge of civil design, construction support, and renewable projects (wind, solar, BESS).
• Familiarity with NEXTracker is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct field supervision of day-to-day electrical activities for the BESS project.
• Coordinate daily contractor activities, verify electrical completion, conduct field inspections, and ensure quality surveillance.
• Oversee safety protocols and support site activities to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Serve as the primary field presence to monitor contractor performance and resolve field issues.
• Ensure construction activities align with project requirements and standards.
• Support a smooth transition to operations through oversight and corrective-action verification.
