Job summary

System One is seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee electrical activities on a BESS project in Earth, TX. The role is a 12-month contract with onsite work, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling a 50-hour work week, and a compensation range of $70.00–$72.00 per hour.

Per diem is $178/day to support field personnel. The successful candidate will direct field activities, manage contractor performance, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience 7–10 years, including low and medium voltage work.
• Experience as an electrical inspector or related electrical discipline role.
• Knowledge of civil design, construction support, and renewables projects like wind, solar, and BESS.
• Familiarity with the NEXTracker system is highly beneficial.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering strongly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Previous EPC experience with contractors or owners reps is a plus.
• Gaps in employment greater than 1 year may be red flags.

• Strong safety awareness and the ability to promote a safety-first culture; OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative attitude.
• Previous EPC experience from companies like Mortenson, Blattner, or owners' reps such as National Grid, Nexterra, Duke Energy is a plus.
• Employment gaps greater than 1 year may be considered a red flag.
