Job summary

SSOE seeks a Revit Modeler for its Tool Install division in North Phoenix, AZ. You will build and maintain electrical Revit models for semiconductor fab clients, manage linked models, and create reusable families for conduit and tool interfaces.

You’ll join weekly clash coordination with multi-discipline teams, perform model QA/QC, and ensure consistency with project standards. This onsite role emphasizes safety protocols and hands-on design support as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in electrical design, drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Revit for electrical modeling, including families, work sets, and linked models.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
• Exposure to Dynamo or Python scripting for Revit automation is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and equipment cut sheets.

Responsibilities

• Model electrical systems in Revit across concept, design development, and construction documents.
• Build and refine Revit families, templates, and shared parameters for consistency.
• Set up worksets, linked models, and file naming for clean federated models.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks, prepare issue logs, and report progress to managers.
• Participate in BIM kick-off and multi-discipline coordination sessions.
• Support QA/QC reviews and ensure model alignment with specs and calculations.
• Maintain document control and model collaboration in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Prepare as-built and record model updates at closeout and support turnover.
• Contribute to lessons-learned reviews and content library improvements.
