Job summary

HotFoot Recruiters is partnered with a well-established MEP consulting engineering firm to hire a few Electrical BIM Operators in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for designing electrical and related systems for complex facilities.

The position is full-time and on-site, with a schedule of Monday–Friday 8A-5P. Salary ranges from $28-$34 per hour DOE, plus a $96/day client-site bonus when applicable.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of BIM modeling/coordination (electrical preferred).
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit BIM models for electrical systems.
• Produce construction drawings with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate electrical models with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Incorporate engineer markups and design updates into BIM models with high accuracy.
• Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues within BIM environments.
• Ensure all models comply with company BIM standards and project requirements.
• Support the creation of construction document sets and project deliverables.
• Maintain organized project files and version control throughout the design lifecycle.
• Assist with BIM coordination meetings and model reviews.

This role supports a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for designing mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology systems for complex commercial and institutional facilities. The firm delivers high-performance, energy-efficient solutions across industries, including semiconductor, healthcare, aviation, mission-critical, and commercial projects. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented BIM professional with strong electrical Revit modeling experience who thrives in a collaborative design environment.

Job Title: Electrical BIM Operator

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8A-5P

Salary: 28-34/hr. DOE

(OPT welcome to apply, the company can potentially offer future H1B sponsorship or EB2/3 visa based on performance)

An additional 96/day for being on the client's site, as long as the client requires (paid out as a quarterly bonus!)

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary BIM coordination environments (MEP projects).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
